If your goal is to see the Nazca Lines and you would like the entire trip from Lima to Ica and back arranged seamlessly for you, this is your option.You can see much of the Peruvian coastline and the Nazca Lines in a full day! There really is no better way to experience these mysterious desert drawings and we guarantee a window seat!
The day of the flight we’ll collect you from your Miraflores hotel and transfer to the Lima bus terminal for a 4.5-hour bus ride to the Ica airport.Once at the Ica airport you’ll register for the flight, pass the security checkpoint and proceed to board the Grand Caravan Cessna aircraft.
The mystery surrounding the Nazca Lines enigma continues to go unanswered. Buckle up and get ready to be amazed by the splendor and magnificent art of the Nazca lines. Unfolding beneath you are dozens of animal figures, trapezoids and hundreds of ruler-straight lines that lie across the rocky Nazca plateau, visible only from the air. Some say it is an ancient solar calendar. Others suggest the Lines acted as ritual pathways for religious processions. Still others believe it was just an ancient culture’s way of asking for water during a long drought. That will be up to you to decide upon.Once on the ground again you’ll board the bus and transfer to a local venue for lunch, which is included in your visit. After lunch we’ll make a visit to Huacachina, a picturesque desert Oasis located in the outskirts of Ica. After a short visit to Huacachina you’ll begin the return journey to Lima. Upon arrival to the Lima bus terminal you’ll transferred to your Miraflores hotel. Approximate arrival in Lima is 19:30pm
